On April 8-10, everything powered by batteries was exhibited at the Expocentre Fairgrounds - from electric bikes to flying cars
In the snow, in the skies and on the sea
The topic of converting various vehicles into electric ones is gaining momentum, so now it is difficult to imagine anything self-propelled without an electric version. The exhibition confirmed this. For example, the company Eliq is converting Rybinsk snowmobiles to electric power: the Elik Arctic and Elik Tiksi models have Chinese electric motors with a power of 3-6 kW, a range of 20 to 45 km and a price tag of approximately 600 thousand rubles. up to a million.
Having fit in a disassembled Lada Kalina, the ultra-light hovercraft HoverJuke designed by Oleg Kononenko arrived at the show: the exhibition program even included sessions with the opportunity to ride. Load capacity – up to 250 kg, speed – up to 50 km/h, power reserve – up to 2 hours. But the electric motor for the HoverJuke is only one of the possible types of drive: installing a gas motor and gas tank on an inflatable prefabricated structure is as easy as installing an electric motor and battery.
However, the most exotic electrical exhibit was, of course, the flying electric car GreenFly - or rather, a cross between an electric car, a microplane and a paraglider - from Pyatigorsk aviation designer Alexander Begak (pictured in a long-brimmed jacket). At the exhibition, the Green Fly was present in a wingless version, as was the hybrid flying amphibian Hype (the red car in the background). In 2022, the designer plans to begin production of his environmentally friendly “begalettes”: they can be used in monitoring and protecting resort and environmental areas.
And yes, converting your yacht into an electric ship (Ellisabeth company), and an electric hydrofoil (electrohydrofoil from Flyboard Shop) were also offered on EDrive.
