A native of the resort city, Alexander Begak took part in the MAKS-2021 aerospace salon. The aircraft designer demonstrated prototypes of his inventions - the space yacht "Selena" and the air taxi PCJBEGAERO, as well as a begalet.
The aerospace yacht was of interest not only to visitors to the air show, but also to Roscosmos. Selena is a suborbital rocket plane. He can go into space and be in zero gravity for 7 to 10 minutes. According to Alexander Begak, such objects are in demand, since their market has already been formed.
“We had a close conversation on this topic with the General Director of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin. He supports the initiative of a private space project, and we will continue to communicate with specialists. Perhaps there will be some kind of collaboration in this vein, which will allow the implementation of a unique project - no one has ever done this in Russia or the world,” explained Alexander Begak.
Also at MAKS 2021, the engineer demonstrated environmentally friendly transport - a runaway vehicle. This is what he plans to introduce at the CMV as an alternative to electric scooters.
