From October 19 to 21, traditionally, companies from the Stavropol Territory visited the Republic of Abkhazia as part of a business mission. The organizers were the Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the “My Business” center, with the active participation of the Pyatigorsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Union.
The acquaintance of Stavropol and Abkhaz business took place at a round table, where, with the participation of representatives of district administrations and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia, issues of developing foreign economic relations between the region and the republic, expanding cooperation in the field of agriculture, processing of agricultural products, industry and tourism, and the implementation of joint investment projects were discussed.
Members of the Stavropol delegation consisting of representatives of Els Group LLC, IP Pogrebnyak M.E. and IP Evpraksina N.V., Emerald City LLC, Mashuk LLC (Pyatigorsky Narzan sanatorium), Aerospace Developments Begak LLC, had the opportunity to present their products, express their opinion on the prospects and plans for cooperation with the Abkhaz side.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia also organized a number of meetings with representatives of the administration, in particular the head of the administration of the Ochamchira district, Bigvava B.V., who noted that they have long been considering the possibility of close cooperation with entrepreneurs of Stavropol, as one of the largest producers of agricultural products and mineral fertilizers and other goods in demand in Abkhazia. As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a permanent exchange of business missions between Stavropol and Abkhazia, with the aim of developing direct interaction between the business community of our region and the Republic of Abkhazia.
